Final Thought about the Portfolio Project:
Looking back, I learned a lot from this project. I didn't realize how much work goes into making even a short film. From planning to filming to editing, every step took more effort than I expected.
One of the biggest things I improved on was using technology. I got better at filming, editing, and making sure everything looked and sounded right. Editing was tricky at first, but after watching tutorials and practicing, I figured it out.
I also learned a lot about storytelling. I wanted the audience to connect with Mateo's journey, so I focused on making his emotions feel real thought lighting, music, and camera angles.
Time management was another challenge. Filming and editing took longer than I thought, and things didn't always go as planned. But I found Ways to fix problems and keep going.
Overall, this project helped me improve my skills and creativity. if I had more time, I'd refine a few things, but I'm around of what I created and excited to work on more projects in the future.
