Media portfolio Project CCR Post Production

Step 1: Checking My Slides

  • Once I had all my slides done, I went through them a few times to see if they made sense. I fixed any spelling mistakes, made sure the pictures weren't blurry, and checked that the text was easy to read. I also kept the slides simple too much text would make it boring, and I didn't want people just reading off the screen instead of listening to me
Step 2: Adjusting the Timing
  • I wanted my presentation to flow well, so I practiced to make sure I wasn't rushing or taking too long. At first, I realized I was either taking too fast or getting stuck on certain parts. I fixed this by timing myself while going through it a few times, so I knew exactly how long each slide should take.
Step 3: Improving My Delivery
  • Just like editing a film to make it more engaging, I wanted my presentation to be interesting to listen to. I practiced speaking clearly and making eye contact instead of just staring at my slides. I also added a few pauses where I knew I needed to slow down so I wouldn't just ramble through everything.
Step 4: Doing a Final Run-Through
  • Before actually presenting, I did a final run through in front of a friend. This helped me see if anything still felt awkward or if I needed to change the way I explained certain parts. Getting feedback helped me make small improvements that made a big difference.
Post production isn't just for films it's also important for presentations. Taking the time to check my slides, practice my timing, and improve my delivery made my final presentation way better. If I had just thrown everything together and presented without reviewing it, I probably would have made a lot more mistakes.
In the end, I'm glad I put in the extra effort because it helped me feel more confident when I actually gave the presentation. If I ever do another one, I'll definitely use what I learned to make it even better.
