- Heavy breathing and exhalations- showing Mateo's exhaustion and mental battle
- Scoreboard flicking sound-reinforcing the idea that time is stuck in his mind
- Sound of missed shots- exaggerating the weight of failure
Most of this sound will be done by foley
Flashback Pre injury
- Loud, energetic crowd cheers-layered, with teammates shouting encouragement
- Coach maybe yelling instructions from the sidelines
- Clean, sharp dribbles and passes
- Game buzzer sound and clear- marking the stakes of the moment
- Shoes squeaking in rapid motion- faster pace than the present scene
